Larry Crowne did not get rave reviews. Whether you can see beyond a story line into the depth of the human spirit or not, the movie will amuse you, please you and even inspire you.

For those who do possess that depth, you will summize that sometimes we get handed things, ie; loss of job, divorce, etc. Just because the life's journey we are on forces change upon us, there is no excuse to wallow in self pity either from oneself or others.

As in the movie, Tom Hanks does a wonderful job of timeline to inspire all movie goers to feel the worst and then rise above it by surging into a new life's journey with hope and inspiration.
The story line ends up telling the movie goer that when a door or two closes, beyond that horizon lies a new experience that really offers a happier and more fulfilling life.
Julia Roberts, the teacher, ends up learning from her students and after making a few mistakes herself, discovers forgiveness as she searches briefly into her own life to see a happy new beginning.
The movie is brilliant and I give it a 3 for laughs, 5 for inspiration and a thumbs up for the bike!
